Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by Cyril Dilim Photography. Booking a session, you (the client) agree to the following terms

1. PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES

I offer a range of professional photography services, including Portraits & Professional Headshots, Commercial & Brand Photography, Event Coverage (including milestone celebrations), and Wedding Photography.

I am based in Manchester, UK, and primarily operate in this region. However, I am available to travel across the UK and Europe for bookings. Please note that all travel-related expenses — including transport, accommodation, permits, and any other associated costs — are the responsibility of the client. These will be discussed and agreed upon in advance as part of the booking process.

2. BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS

To secure your booking, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot, prior to the session start.

Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash.

Please note that bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received and acknowledged in writing.

3. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Clients may cancel or reschedule their session up to 3 days (72 hours) before the scheduled start time.

Cancellations made at least 3 days in advance are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the session will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.

If I am unable to attend due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, all payments — including the deposit — will be fully refunded, or an alternative date will be offered, depending on your preference.

4. Image Delivery & Storage Policy

Final retouched images from regular sessions (portraits, headshots, brand shoots) will be delivered within 3–7 days after the shoot.
Express delivery (within 2 days) is available for small sessions for an additional fee.
Weddings or large shoot / event galleries will be delivered within 2–4 weeks, depending on the scale of the session and the number of final images.
A sneak peek selection of 5–10 highlight images can be delivered within 3–5 days upon request.
All images will be delivered through a private online gallery (via Pixieset), where you can download and store your images safely.
Your gallery will remain accessible for 4 weeks (28 days) from the date of delivery. After this period, it will be permanently removed from the cloud.

If you need more time, extended storage is available for a small additional fee:

£30 for an additional 3 months
£60 for an additional 6 months
£100 for 1 year of extended access

This option allows you extra time to download, share, and enjoy your photos without rushing. To extend your gallery access, simply get in touch before your gallery expires.

5. RAW File Policy

RAW files are available upon request and are provided at a rate. This fee covers file preparation, secure transfer, and limited usage rights.

Please note that RAW files are unedited and intended for clients who require them for professional or internal use. Final edited images remain the recommended format for sharing, display, and publication.

Please contact me directly if RAW files are required as part of your project.

6. Usage Rights & Copyright

Clients are granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the final images for personal and standard commercial purposes, such as social media, websites, marketing materials, and printed media.

Please note:

Copyright remains with Cyril Dilim Photography at all times.
Images may not be resold, sublicensed, or transferred to third parties without prior written permission.
Cyril Dilim Photography reserves the right to use selected images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to portfolio, website, and social media, unless the client opts out in writing at the time of booking.
For commercial clients: Any additional usage beyond standard promotion — such as national advertising, billboards, product packaging, or resale — may require a separate licensing agreement.

7. Liability Disclaimer

While every care is taken to ensure a safe and professional experience, Cyril Dilim Photography is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the session or as a result of the use of the final images.

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, image loss, or other unforeseen technical issues, liability will be limited to a full refund of all payments made by the client. No further compensation will be offered or assumed.

8. Usage Rights & Copyright

Clients and all participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally throughout the session.

Cyril Dilim Photography reserves the right to terminate any session immediately in the event of abuse, harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior, without refund.

This ensures a safe, respectful, and productive environment for everyone involved

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Manchester.
